Start with Main Avenue

A North County village with Main Avenue storefronts, garden nurseries and local history collections. Fallbrook is an unincorporated San Diego County community; its downtown can anchor a visit, while gardens and museums call for separate stops and a little advance planning.

Begin along Main Avenue for local shops and lunch, then plan a visit to the Fallbrook Art Center or library. The Historical Society Heritage Center on Hill Avenue is a separate stop; check opening hours directly. Nurseries are spread beyond downtown, so compare addresses and visiting information before driving between them.
